Woolly Worm This "worm" is the larval stage of a tiger moth. An old wives' tale says you can predict winter weather by observing woolly worms - the narrower the brown band the more severe the winter. So it looks good, according to this guy, but we saw several entirely black ones also ... take your pick. |
